• Blends with dry fertilizer. Apply any time you would apply dry fertilizer. Early spring and late fall are optimum.
• Limestone is first ground into a fine powder, then granulated. The granules are held together with a water-soluble binder that allows the product to disperse back into powder when contacted with moisture after the product is applied. This allows the product to begin to modify the soil pH levels within two weeks.
• Accurate application: No dust, no drift.
• Improved herbicide efficacy (especially triazines) and enhanced nutrient uptake.
• Immediate benefits on cash-rent ground for next crop.
• Neutralizes top 2” of soil in no-till/strip-till allowing NPK nutrients to be more effective.

PRODUCT USAGE

• Application Timing: Post-harvest to pre-plant.
• Application Rate: 300-500 pounds per acre.
• pH maintenance: Use 2# of Prolime Hi-Cal for each pound of ammonia nitrogen to flatten pH curve.
• pH buildup: 50-100# of Prolime Hi-Cal for each tenth pH increase desired.
• Crops: Forage, row crops, specialty crops, legumes.
• Alfalfa/forage/legumes/clover: Top-dress 75# of Prolime Hi-Cal for each ton of forage harvested to maintain soil pH. Apply at seeding time.
• Soybeans: Apply Prolime Hi-Cal with potash to increase soybean yields.
